Drug Description
Proventil Syrup is a sympathomimetic (beta agonist) bronchodilator. It relaxes the smooth muscle in the airway. Consequently the air flows in and out of the lungs more effortlessly and it improves breathing.
Indication
Albuterol Syrup is indicated to treat bronchospasm (wheezing, breathing problems) in patients who have asthma or certain other airway diseases. This medicine may also be used for other diseases not mentioned here.
How to use Albuterol Syrup
Proventil Syrup should be taken as recommended by your doctor. To know about exact dosing instructions follow the label on the medication. You may take Albuterol Syrup with or without food.
